Job Description & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Prepare management accounts
• Assist in the annual budget preparation
• Compile tax returns and VAT returns
• Update the fixed asset register
• Prepare reports to management and regulatory bodies as and when required
• Work in line with policies and procedures
• Foster relationships with other departments regarding financial matters
• Prepare appropriate financial documentations to support internal auditing and assist external auditors in responding to their queries promptly
• Assist in the interpretation and recommendations arising from internal audits and the year-end audit
Qualifications required
Applicants must be fully qualified Accountants or be in the final stages of attaining an accounting qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Keep abreast of financial management and reporting best practices
• Be well versed with MS Office, in particular Excel, Word and Power Point
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English
• Be able to deliver accurate and timely information consistently
• Have a high degree of integrity and ability to work effectively in a team
