Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Handling day to day accounting, bookkeeping and invoicing procedures
• Preparing periodic reconciliation of bank accounts and other reconciliations
• Preparing statement of accounts
• Informing management and compiling reports/summaries on activity areas, as required
• Assisting with the month-end process leading to the submission of accurate monthly management accounts
• Constantly updating job knowledge through continuous professional development
• Carrying out any other legitimate task as may be required for the smooth running of the company

Qualifications required
Applicants should be in the process of acquiring an accounting qualification, such as ACCA, or possess an Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
Experience required
Applicants must have a strong accounting background with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
In addition, the ideal candidate must:
• Have previous experience in accounting software – SAGE is a must
• Be highly competent in the use of MS Office and databases
• Have hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Have excellent grasp of the English language: verbal and written
• Be well organised, accurate, with a good eye for detail
• Be deadline-oriented and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Have the ability to integrate and work well in a team environment
