Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out general accounting duties for multiple group entities including posting of supplier invoices, posting of bank transactions and reconciliations as well assisting senior members of the finance team with the monthly reporting and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post purchase invoices accurately
• Assist with accounts payables including follow up of approval process
• Prepare and post bank transactions including bank reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Assist in the monthly closing process
• Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
Qualifications required
Applicants must have an O' level / A' level in Accounts.
Experience required
Preference will be given to candidates having previous experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be proficient in Excel (will be considered an asset)
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Have excellent organizational and time management skills
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
