Job Description & Responsibilities
Apart from the day-to-day work, the selected candidate will be reporting directly to the CFO and will be responsible for:
• Preparing monthly management statements in a timely manner to allow the review of the company’s financial performance
• Actively leading the preparation of the yearly budget and regular forecasts together with other department Managers and the CFO
• Preparing cash flows, VAT returns, and financial information relative to upcoming and existing projects or business opportunities
• Acting as the first line of contact of the external auditors to ensure a prompt and accurate preparation of the statutory audit
• Ensuring the timely monitoring of debtors, credit control and effective reporting to the Group CFO and senior management as required
• Supporting the accounts staff with daily monitoring of cash settlements and accounts receivables and motivating and leading the members of the finance team on a daily basis
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a University degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have proven work experience in a similar position.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Have excellent communication and people skills
• Have good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Have problem-solving skills
