Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Participating in monthly variance analysis against budgets in a manner that facilitates management decision-making and drives improvement as well as cost savings
• Tracking of balance sheet accounts and preparing monthly reconciliations
• Assisting in the preparation of entity-level yearly budgets
• Supporting the delivery of KPIs and forward-looking projections to the Group on an ongoing basis
• Providing assistance to senior finance staff on a range of projects across the Group on an ad hoc basis
• Closing internal and external audit requests
Qualifications required
Applicants must be part-qualified Accountants, currently in the last stages of studying for ACCA (or equivalent).
Experience required
Applicants should ideally possess some relevant accounting experience.
In addition, the ideal candidate must:
• Have excellent analytical skills. The individual must be motivated, reliable and adaptable team member who can proactively contribute to delivering solutions
• Be willing to travel for work and should be able to exhibit a high degree of initiative as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Have very strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills
