Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Assisting in executing statutory audits under the supervision of the audit manager
• Conducting audit procedures, including validating the accuracy of financial statements and identifying areas of audit risk
• Reviewing transactions, documents, records, and reports for accuracy and completeness
• Preparing audit working papers
• Attending stock takes
• Meeting deadlines
• Performing additional duties as requested
• Assisting the Compliance Department with AML requirements
Qualifications required
Applicants can be in the process of attaining an Accounting qualification such as ACCA.
Experience required
Candidates shall have 2 years’ experience in a similar role, though candidates with less experience may also be considered.
Applicants must:
• Be motivated, have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Have good command of both written and oral English
• Have a pleasant personality
• Be proficient in MS office applications
• Be able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise work
• Be able to work in a team
• Complete tasks in a timely manner
