Are you a seasoned finance person with a proven track record of leadership and hands-on expertise in accounting? BMIT is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled individual to lead and drive financial excellence within our company.
Responsibilities include:
• Day-to-Day Financial Operations: Efficiently monitor and manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, by delegating tasks to team members and ensuring smooth workflow to support the team's operations
• Month-End Processes: Actively participate in the month-end and audit processes to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines
• Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and audited accounts
• Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Compile and submit timely and accurate tax and other regulatory submissions as required
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and working capital requirements effectively to optimize financial resources.
• Budgeting and Performance Monitoring: Actively contribute in the preparation of the group budget and monitor performance against budget on an ongoing basis
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and other consultants on financial matters
• Internal Controls: Ensure effective internal controls are in place and suggest improvements as necessary to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance
Qualifications required
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated maturity and valuable on the job experience in a similar managerial and accounting role.
Experience required
Candidates must have a proven track record of at least 5-7 years in progressively responsible financial roles, including managerial experience.

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning is essential for a Finance Manager. We are looking for candidates who have developed and managed budgets, forecasted financial performance, and identified areas for cost optimization
• Adaptability: Flexible and quick to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to various stakeholders
• Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated capacity to work efficiently and maintain composure under pressure while ensuring accuracy and quality in financial operations
