Responsibilities include:
• Day-to-Day Financial Operations: Efficiently monitor and manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, by delegating tasks to team members and ensuring smooth workflow to support the team's operations
• Month-End Processes: Actively participate in the month-end and audit processes to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines
• Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and audited accounts
• Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Compile and submit timely and accurate tax and other regulatory submissions as required
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and working capital requirements effectively to optimize financial resources.
• Budgeting and Performance Monitoring: Actively contribute in the preparation of the group budget and monitor performance against budget on an ongoing basis
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and other consultants on financial matters
• Internal Controls: Ensure effective internal controls are in place and suggest improvements as necessary to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance

Qualifications required
For this role in particular, greater importance is placed on practical experience and managerial skills over the expectation of being a qualified accountant.
Experience required
Candidates must have a proven track record of at least 5-7 years in progressively responsible financial roles, including managerial experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated maturity and valuable on the job experience in a similar managerial and accounting role.
