Job Description & Responsibilities
As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for skilled and motivated Auditors at various levels to join our dynamic team.
Vacancies Available:
• Audit Assistants
• Senior Auditors
• Audit Team Leaders
Depending on the level of the position, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Junior Auditors:
• Assisting audit seniors in carrying out statutory audits
• Reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports and methods for accuracy and completeness
• Preparing adequate audit working papers in a timely manner
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements
• Meeting work plan specifications and deadlines
• Performing other duties as may be assigned
Senior Auditors:
• Carrying out statutory audits of medium to large companies from planning to completion stages, including reporting and presenting findings to clients
• Preparing the financial statements in conformity with relevant accounting framework and completion documents, including reporting to those charged with governance as applicable (e.g., management letter)
• Performing on-the-job supervision and coaching of audit associates
• Assisting with induction and on-the-job training of audit associates
• Assisting with other audit related projects
• Audit Team Leaders:
• Assisting the Audit Leader and Senior Team Leader with managing a portfolio of clients across various industries
• Cultivating positive and professional relationships with clients throughout the audit process. Act as the point of contact for client inquiries, concerns and feedback, demonstrating responsiveness and attentiveness to their needs
• Directing, coaching and mentoring the audit team in effectively delivering engagements
• Planning audits and review their execution
• Encouraging open communication, collaboration and teamwork among team members
• Carrying out performance reviews of junior audit staff
Qualifications required
Junior Auditors:
• Be willing to start or has started ACCA or equivalent degree and has strong interest in Audit
Senior Auditors:
• University degree in Accounting / be ACCA qualified with 2-3 years’ work experience
Audit Team Leaders:
• University degree in Accounting / be ACCA qualified
Experience required
Junior Auditors:
• Have the ability to learn fast, deliver quality work under pressure and has an analytical mind with a problem solving approach
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Be competent in the use of standard office tools
• Be able to work on own initiative, prioritise own work and meet deadlines
Senior Auditors:
• Be able to learn fast, deliver quality work under pressure and has an analytical mind with a problem solving approach
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Be competent in the use of standard office tools
• Be able to work on own initiative, prioritise own work and meet deadlines
Audit Team Leaders:
• Have 3-4 years’ work experience
• Have 1+ years’ experience being responsible for a team
