Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing client bookkeeping and general accounting services
• Liaising with clients and handling various requests in a timely manner
• Working on own initiative, prioritizing own work and meeting deadlines
• Assisting in the preparation of accountancy files for audit and liaising with client auditors
• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and General Accounting Principles for Small and Medium Sized Entities (GAPSME)
• Preparing and submitting clients’ VAT returns and recap declarations

Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a University Degree in Accounting / ACCA or be mid-way through the ACCA qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must:
• Have two years of experience in a similar role
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal departments
• Be competent in the use of standard office tools
