Job Description & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Providing comprehensive cash flow management, ensuring optimal liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives
• Developing and refining financial models to forecast the company’s short-and long-term financial performance, accounting for the dynamic nature of the gaming industry
• Encouraging innovation within the team by identifying and implementing automation tools and processes, including the use of cutting-edge financial technology to optimize operational efficiency
• Supporting cross-functional team collaboration, ensuring financial insights are integrated into decision-making processes across departments such as commercial, marketing, and operations
• Maintaining strict reconciliation protocols, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial data
• Leveraging BI tools and analytics to track and evaluate financial performance, focusing on real-time data insights to improve decision-making and financial reporting
• Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial health, operational efficiency, and revenue growth, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Use data-driven insights to monitor the profitability of various gaming products, services, and platforms, identifying opportunities for optimisation and growth
• Analyzing and evaluating the profitability of commercial deals, strategic partnerships, and licensing agreements, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals and risk management strategy
• Working closely with the business development and legal teams to structure contracts and agreements that maximize financial benefits and minimize potential liabilities
• Ensuring alignment of financial practices and reporting across various business units and gaming platforms, maintaining consistency and transparency
• Collaborating with the group finance function and key external stakeholders, such as banks, investors, and partners, ensuring strong financial governance and accountability
• Growing the controlling function, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and adherence to best practices
• Supporting the CFO to design and manage the company’s budget, financial forecasting, and long-term planning
Qualifications required
Applicants must:
• Have expertise in managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
• Have deep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and proficiency with financial statements, audits, reconciliations, and general ledger management
• Be able to analyze financial data, interpret trends, and provide insights for business decision-making
• Have strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
• Be able to communicate financial data clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, including presentations to senior management
• Have excellent verbal and written English communication
Experience required
Applicants must have 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have experience leading finance teams, overseeing staff, and driving performance through effective management
• Be proficient in identifying financial issues and implementing effective solutions, especially during times of financial pressure or changes
• Have previous experience in iGaming (will be considered a plus)
