Job Description & Responsibilities
We are currently looking for an Accounts Officer to join the Finance team. The role primarily involves recording financial information into the accounting software, performing various daily excel reconciliations, sending daily payments to customers and suppliers, and assisting in preparing the management and financial reports.
Responsibilities include:
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
• Create and maintain spreadsheets
• Analyse, organise and manage supplier invoices
• Prepare general ledger postings
• Reconcile bank accounts in a timely manner
• Daily entry of key financial transactions in the accounting system (Sage Evolution)
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
• Manage and process internal employee claims
• Assist in the production of timely and accurate financial reporting
• Manage accounts payable
• Manage accounts receivables
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required

Qualifications required
Applicants must have an A' level in Accounting.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
In addition, applicants must:
• Be living and working in Malta for at least 3 years
• Have excellent organisational, verbal, and written communications skills
• Be fluent in both Maltese and English languages
• Be a team player and appreciate collaborating with others
• Be able to manage priorities and deliver outputs within deadlines
• Be self-motivated, well-organised and efficient
• Demonstrate a proactive and hands-on approach to work
• Be attentive to detail
• Be eager to learn
• Have adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Having a background in the iGaming industry (will be considered an asset)
