Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including books of accounts, sales / accounts receivable, purchase / accounts payable and general ledger
• Ensuring proper classification, tax filings, and any other relevant financial documents whilst complying with legal requirements in a timely manner
• Managing Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements, monthly Management Accounts as well as preparing working papers for audit
• Verifying purchase orders, reconciling invoices with purchase records, and ensuring timely payment to vendors
• Generating and distributing accurate and timely invoices to customers, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements
• Processing employee employment records, generating and distributing payslips to employees, making payments including salaries, wages, and benefits whilst accurately calculating deductions, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience required
Applicants must:
• Have at least 3 years' experience in a similar position
• Have excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Have strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
