Job Description & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Finance Executive to join our team on a full-time basis.
Based on-site, this role is central to overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities that directly support strategic business decisions.
The ideal candidate will bring both a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to drive financial efficiency across multiple business units, particularly within retail and e-commerce operations.
Responsibilities include:
Financial Management & Reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes
• Post supplier and customer invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform debtor and related parties reconciliations to ensure clean and transparent records
• Maintain a comprehensive fixed assets register and calculate accurate depreciation values
• Perform account reconciliations to validate financial accuracy and compliance
Accounts Management & Compliance
• Guarantee adherence to local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal governance protocols
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and banking institutions
• Prepare and conduct bank reconciliations
• Upload payments and perform creditors’ reconciliations
• Manage petty cash accounts responsibly and efficiently
Cash Flow & Risk Management
• Monitor and manage company cash flow to ensure continuous operational functionality
• Identify financial risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
• Support investment decisions and enhance working capital performance
E-Commerce & Retail Finance
• Handle financial workflows related to online transactions, gateways, and refund processing
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to align financial and inventory objectives
• Analyze e-commerce profitability and propose initiatives to optimize margins
Collaboration & Strategic Support
• Partner with senior leadership to define and execute robust financial strategies
• Deliver insights on business performance to support growth initiatives and expansion plans
• Support pricing strategies and promotional campaigns using sound financial data
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience required
Applicants must have 3+ years experience in a finance role, ideally within retail or e-commerce sectors.
