Job Description & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Prepare monthly Management Accounts
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Handle cashflow management
• Be the primary point of contact to key stakeholders
• Assign to and review tasks of other junior members
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Liaise with external auditors and other third parties
• Carry out other ad hoc duties and reports as needed from time to time
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a University degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification or be in the final stages of attaining an Accounting qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must as a minimum have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Have strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Have strong administrative skills
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Be fluent and proficient in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in Maltese will be considered an asset
