Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Issuing invoices and customer statements
• Chasing debtors
• Posting cash, cheques and bank receipts
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Issuing purchase orders
• Processing payment runs to suppliers
• Preparing and assisting with management accounts
• Posting payroll entries and submitting FS5
• Preparing reconciliations of purchases, sales and cash transactions
• Assisting during the audit process
• Carrying out any other duty which may be required from time to time
Qualifications required
A minimum A' level standard of education in Accounting is required. Preference will be given to candidates studying ACCA.
Experience required
Applicants must have minimum three years experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Hold excellent intrapersonal skills
• Be able to work on own initiative
• Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Have excellent communication skills in both English and Maltese
