Job Description & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Prepare and issue invoices and customer statements
• Support the Finance team with debt collection when required
• Record and post cash, cheque, and bank transactions
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliations
• Create and process purchase orders and supplier invoices
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and share data
• Handle petty cash and other day-to-day cash transactions
• Provide support during the annual audit process
• Contribute to other finance-related tasks as needed
Salary: €28,000 - €30,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus other benefits.
Qualifications required
Applicants must as a minimum have an A’ level standard of education in Accounting. Studying ACCA will be considered an asset and encouraged for career growth.
Experience required
Applicants must have at least three years’ experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
• Be able to work independently and take initiative
• Have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel)
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese
