Job Description & Responsibilities
Tumas Group is currently seeking to recruit an Accounting Executive to assist in financial management and control activities on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities include:
• Prepare management accounts and associated reports
• Assist in annual budget preparation
• Compile VAT returns
• Prepare appropriate financial documentation to support internal auditing and assist external auditors in responding to their queries promptly
• Work in line with policies and procedures
• Foster relationships with other departments regarding financial matters

Qualifications required
Applicants must be recently qualified Accountants or be partly qualified with 2 years' experience.
Experience required
The ideal candidate must:
• Have good knowledge of financial management and reporting best practices
• Be well versed with MS Office, especially Excel
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English
• Be able to deliver accurate and timely information consistently
• Demonstrate integrity and team playing abilities
