Job Description & Responsibilities
Tumas Group is looking for an Accounts Clerk to join our dynamic team at the Accounts Department on a full-time or part-time basis. Reporting into the Assistant Financial Controller, the selected candidate will perform a variety of general accounting support tasks in the Accounts Department.
Key responsibilities include:
• Detailing financial business transactions, mainly but not limited to accounts receivable, as an example, issuing invoices, receipts, and reconciling debtors accounts
• Interacting with clients on a daily basis both in person and over the phone
• Filing, scanning of documents and other administrative tasks

Those candidates interested in the position on a part-time basis should be available for a minimum of thirty (30) hours per week.

Qualifications required
Whilst an ‘O’ level qualification in accounting would be desirable, candidates currently pursuing an accounting qualification will also be considered.
Experience required
In order to be shortlisted for this role, candidates should possess the following characteristics:
• Be well versed with MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Be organized and methodical
• Be tactful, assertive and persuasive
• Have excellent written and spoken English and Maltese
• Be able to work effectively in a team
