Job Description & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, the selected candidate will handle a variety of day-to-day general accounting tasks, including:
• Manage financial transactions, including issuing payments and reconciling creditor accounts
• Perform standard office procedures including processing mail, answering customer phone calls, typing and filing
Qualifications required
Applicants must have a minimum O’ level qualification in Accounting or equivalent.
Experience required
Applicants must have experience with accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
The ideal candidate must also:
• Have strong organizational skills, with a methodical approach
• Have a tactful, assertive, and persuasive communication style
• Have good verbal and written communication skills including fluency in Maltese and English
• Be team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively
