Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Issuing sales invoices
• Assisting and supporting other members within the finance teams in its day-to-day functions, liaising directly with the Finance Manager
• Following up on amounts due by debtors
• Posting creditor’s invoices and creditor’s reconciliations
• Issuing payments
• Preparing reconciliations of petty cash
• Posting general journals as necessary
• Maintaining spreadsheets data, generating reports, statements, and other documents
• Carrying out any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management
Qualifications required
Applicants must as a minimum have an A' level standard of education in Accounting. A strong foundation in accounting principles is essential. Candidates in the early stages of pursuing ACCA will be preferred.
Experience required
Applicants must as a minimum have 2 years experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have a high level of English language both spoken and written, preferably also Maltese
• Be an enthusiastic team player who will make a positive impact on the workplace
• Be able to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Be able to manage tasks efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality
