Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated CFO to manage all aspects of financial operations. As the CFO, the selected candidate will guide all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, forecasting, and credit control, while reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with our client’s mission and vision
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including cash flow planning, forecasting, and budgeting
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and strengthen internal financial processes and reporting
• Ensure adherence to best practices in corporate governance and financial reporting
• Lead the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
• Contribute to the creation and analysis of budgets and financial models, enabling informed decision-making
• Champion cost-saving initiatives to optimize financial performance
• Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, including advisors, clients, and vendors
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a University degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience in a senior finance management role.
In addition, applicants must:
• Have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing financial strategies
• Demonstrate strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Have an analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Demonstrate a proactive and resourceful approach to work
• Have a strong interest in working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
