Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Checking stock levels regularly
• Compiling weekly reports and addressing inventory discrepancies
• Performing random checks and audits
• Assisting with regular stock takes
• Carrying out other ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications required
Applicants must have general good standard of education up to secondary level.
Experience required
Applicants must have solid knowledge and experience in the food industry business.
In addition, the ideal candidate must:
• Have strong command of Microsoft Office tools especially in Word and Excel
• Have experience with a ‘help desk’ environment, and having direct contact with clients (will be considered an asset)
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be able to maintain a healthy rapport with internal customers and to work under constant pressure
• Have a positive attitude of can do, right the first time, speed and passion
• Be able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
• Be able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Be self-motivated, well organized and have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to thrive in a competitive and pressurized environment
