Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Recording, organising and structuring financial data
• Analysing financial information
• Preparing reconciliations
• Chasing up outstanding invoices
• Assisting in the financial controls of the company and coordinating with other departments to ensure uniformity in the application of policies
• Preparing ad-hoc tasks as requested from time to time by the CFO
Qualifications required
Applicants must have a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent. Being in the process of achieving ACCA qualification would be considered an asset.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be fluent in written and spoken English
• Have good IT skills (such as MS Excel)
• Be a problem solver
• Be a team player, highly organized and proactive, whilst also being able to work on his/her own initiative as necessary
• Have an eye for detail
• Be able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Be self-motivated and driven to achieve results
• Have a clean police conduct
