Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Supporting the VAT Compliance Specialist of the Group in preparing and submitting:
- Swiss and EU VAT declarations
- Intrastat declarations for multiple group entities
- Turnover and input VAT reconciliations
- Alcohol and excise duty declarations
• Assisting the Head of Tax with VAT and Customs audits
• Collaborating with the treasury department to ensure timely VAT payments and monitor VAT refunds
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a qualification in Accounting, Law, or Economics.
Experience required
Applicants must have at least 3 years' of experience in a finance, accounting or tax department, or 2-3 years in a tax advisory firm. Experience with NetSuite or Oracle is considered a plus.
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualities:
• Be willing to learn and be ready for occasional travel
• Be proficient in English
• Have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
