Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will join the in-house Finance team on a full-time basis or reduced hours basis (30 hours per week).
Key duties and responsibilities include:
• Maintaining general ledgers, reconciliations and analysis
• Assisting in the preparation of the monthly and annual management accounts
• Assisting with the companies’ audit processes
• Supervising the companies’ stock system
• Preparing periodical and ad hoc reports as requested
• Preparing VAT returns
• Preparing and running the monthly payroll
Qualifications required
Applicants must be fully qualified Accountants or be currently in the final stages of attaining ACCA.
Experience required
Applicants must have 3-5 years of accounting experience.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Be organised and methodical in all work performed
• Be able to work on own initiative and in a team whilst adhering to deadlines
• Be attentive to detail and able to multi-task
• Be proficient in spoken and written English
• Have knowledge of Italian (would be considered an asset)
