Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Management Accountant to support our growing operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual to advance their career in the aviation industry, working closely with senior and C-level management. The candidate will be responsible for analysing and presenting financial data across multiple business areas, ensuring robust monthly accounting controls, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
• Gather and analyse financial data for internal reporting and decision-making
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Contribute to financial reporting and liaise with internal and external auditors
• Manage tight accounting deadlines effectively
• Evaluate company performance using key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Supervise and mentor junior team members
• Be flexible and willing to travel within our network as required
Qualifications required
Applicants must be fully qualified Accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (e.g., Management Accountant or Accounting Supervisor).
The ideal candidate must:
• Have a strong understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial reporting
• Be fluent in written and spoken English
• Be proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and risk analysis
• Have advanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with financial software
• Have excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
