Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will join a team of professional accountants and will report to the Directors. Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining accounting records for a portfolio of clients
• Acting as a liaison to a portfolio of clients and addressing their queries
• Handling tax reporting, payments and liaising with tax authorities
• Handling VAT compliance and preparation
• Providing accounting consultancy if required
• Providing payroll support to clients
• Liaising with the local authorities

Qualifications required
Applicants must be in the process of obtaining an Accounting Qualification (University Masters in Accountancy / Bachelor's Degree with Honours / ACCA).
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year experience in accounting.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, in particular Excel
• Have a sound knowledge of the IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards
• Be able to work on own initiative and in a team whilst also adhering to deadlines
• Have excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Be fluent in written and spoken English
• Be energetic, willing to learn and develop further their career
