Job Description & Responsibilities
The Group is seeking to recruit an Accounts Executive to strengthen its well-established, dynamic team and to complement the growing business.
The chosen candidate will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for:
• Inputting of general invoices and posting of key accounting entries
• Preparing reconciliations of bank accounts
• Preparing reconciliations of credit card accounts
• Processing payments and preparing payment runs
• Preparing reconciliations of control accounts
• Preparing and compiling accruals and prepayments
• Liaising with suppliers to resolve issues
• Handling day-to-day requirements within the Accounts department
• Carrying out any other tasks that may be required to achieve the finance department’s objective
Qualifications required
Applicants must have an A' level standard in accounting or an AAT qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ working experience.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Have experience in using Sage and SFM (will be considered an asset)
• Be efficient and have a great eye for detail
• Be self-motivated and can work on own initiative
