Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Assisting in the preparation of the management accounts
• Assisting in the preparation of company forecasts
• Assisting in the preparation of a consolidated annual budget based on the plans and objectives of the Board
• Performing monthly reconciliations related to the finance department
• Coordinating the external audits and finance related internal audits as may be required
• Maintaining accurate accounting records
• Maintaining and assisting in updating the internal control system around finance processes
• Preparing additional ad-hoc reporting as requested by management, banks and other stakeholders
• Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Directors or the Group Financial Controller/Chief Financial Officer which duties shall cover those activities and responsibilities which are considered as falling within the ordinary competence of such title and role
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a University Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification such as ACCA.
Experience required
Work experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.
