Job Description & Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant shall be responsible for managing a team of finance executives, ensuring best-in-class practices, with the principal aim of delivering timely and accurate financial data to group management.
This role involves budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The Senior Accountant shall play a key role in helping the organization make data-driven decisions and achieve its financial objectives.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage the accounts department to ensure efficient and accurate recording of financial data
• Develop and document streamlined accounting processes to maintain and implement robust internal controls
• Prepare the monthly management accounts of the company and its subsidiary, ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting standards and highlighting key variances from budget and forecasts
• Cash flow monitoring, management and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulatory requirements
• Analyze financial data to assess the company’s financial performance
• Assist in the preparation of the yearly budget and relevant forecasting
• Work with IT departments to improve financial automation and reporting
• Assist Group Management as required
• Maintain relations with external auditors and ensure preparation for audits is carried out in timely fashion
Job info:
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Annual Gross Salary: €45,000
• Performance bonus

Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of the 9 fundamental ACCA papers or University Degree in Accounting.
Experience required
The ideal candidate must:
• Be highly organized and able to reach targets
• Have strong communication skills and an eye for detail
• Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude and be able to work as part of the broader team
• Be able to lead change, take an initiative and act on what is required
• Have good work planning and time management skills
• Have knowledge of SFM and SAP (will be considered a plus)
• Have strong knowledge of MS Office software
