Job Description & Responsibilities
Due to growing demand for all our services, we are currently looking to employ a Senior Auditor to join our team.
The main duties consist of the following:
• Perform analytical and substantive testing
• Gain an understanding of client’s control environment and assess accounting treatments utilised
• Delegate and review audit work performed by junior members of staff
• Keep up to date with auditing standards as well as legal, regulatory and compliance matters
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAPSME and IFRS
• Prepare tax computations and corporate tax returns
• Prepare refund claim applications
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of or be in the process of obtaining a relevant Accounting qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in audit.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be able to work with minimal supervision
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to deliver assignments on time
• Have good command of written and spoken English
• Be enthusiastic and eager to learn
