Job Description & Responsibilities
We are on the lookout for a sharp and career-ambitious team player to join our busy team. The selected candidate will assist with maintaining an accurate record of the company’s accounts, the compilation of management accounts, and overseeing the day-to-day tasks within their capacity as Finance Executive.
Responsibilities include:
• Take ownership of the AP process, including payment preparation
• Monitor bank balances and review bank reconciliations
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Update lease and loan schedules
• Prepare and monitor accruals and prepayments on a monthly basis
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and post journal entries
• Maintain accurate records of accounts
• Assist in financial reporting by compiling monthly management accounts
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Carry out daily tasks and other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance
Qualifications required
Applicants who are in the process of obtaining an ACCA qualification will be given preference.
Experience required
Applicants must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have experience with accounting software and MS Excel
• Have Sage accounting software experience (will be considered an advantage)
• Have an eye for detail, sound organisational skills, and be a good communicator
• Be fluent in English
