Job Description & Responsibilities
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a semi-qualified or qualified person to carry out Audits of small to medium clients which form part of the firm’s portfolio of clients.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Providing audit and financial reporting services to different entities operating within various industries
• Ensuring that all audits are carried out according to deadlines
• Liaising on a daily basis with the owner / auditor of the firm
• Applying International Standards on auditing through practical application, ensuring compliance with best practice
• Assisting in client meetings in the pre-audit stage and discuss the audit work done during the final review

Qualifications required
Applicants must be currently pursuing the ACCA qualification, ideally having already obtained the Diploma from ACCA, or be recently qualified or be in possession of an Accounting / Finance Degree from a recognized University.
Experience required
Applicants must have at least 3 years’ experience in an audit and accounts position.
Required skills and attributes:
• Possess an appropriate combination of technical expertise in fields such as auditing, accounting, finance, & technology
• Have good communication skills and level of English
• Have a sound working knowledge of MS Excel software
• Have experience using QuickBooks and XERO accounting software packages (would be beneficial)
• Be able to work well in a team
• Be accurate with work and highly attentive to detail
• Be a good problem solver and quick to learn
• Be knowledgeable in IFRSs, GAPSME and ISAs
