Job Description & Responsibilities
We are expanding our Accountancy team and are seeking a motivated, self-driven individual to join our group of professionals. The primary responsibilities include preparing financial statements and supporting the preparation of other financial reports.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing, updating, and finalizing accounting data
• Preparing and submitting VAT and tax returns
• Compiling Management Accounts
• Maintaining accurate and organized accounting journals
• Liaising with relevant regulatory and supervisory authorities

Qualifications required
Candidates must possess either a University degree in Accounting or the ACCA qualification.
Experience required
Prior experience working as part of an accounting team is considered an asset.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel being an asset
• Exhibit excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Maltese
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Show great attention to detail and maintain efficiency in work output
• Uphold the highest standards of integrity when handling confidential information
• Be proactive, self-motivated, and possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset
