Job Description & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer to join the Finance Department at Multivend Services Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to start or further develop their career in accounting within a growing and dynamic company.
The chosen candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager and will be involved in the day-to-day accounting functions of the company.
The selected candidate will be trained and involved in:
• Updating and maintaining the books of accounts
• Posting invoices in the accounting system
• Recording payment receipts in the accounting system
• Processing accounting entries and reconciliations
• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
• Preparing NSO, WEEE, and other statutory declarations
• Supporting the Finance Manager in daily accounting operations
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Liaising with internal departments when necessary
Qualifications required
Applicants must be currently pursuing the ACCA or an equivalent accounting qualification.
Experience required
A minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred. In addition applicants must:
• Have experience in invoice posting, reconciliations, and accounting entries
• Have experience using Sage accounting software (will be considered an asset)
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Have gasic understanding of accounting principles
• Have good organisational and communication skills
• Be able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn
