Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be supporting the Financial Controller and will be responsible for:
• Maintaining and looking after a portfolio of clients
• Undertaking daily duties including bookkeeping, payments, issuing of invoices and ad-hoc requirements
• Preparing management accounts, financial statements and VAT returns
• Handling yearly tax returns and tax compliance
• Liaising with third parties such as banks, auditors and legal as may be required

Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a University degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of four years working experience in a similar role. Experience working within a CSP or Big4 will be considered an asset.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have advanced knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications and Accounting software such as Xero
• Have excellent written and spoken English. Spoken and written Italian (or another language) will be considered an asset
• Have knowledge of the principles of corporate governance and company statutory requirements
