Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial operations within Michele Peresso Group.
Key responsibilities include:
• Accurately enter and maintain financial records in accounting systems
• Process and authorise supplier invoices and prepare payments via various methods
• Issue customer invoices and ensure timely collection of payments and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Reconcile bank statements and manage discrepancies in accounting records
• Maintain organised financial records, both electronic and paper
• Assist in preparing financial documentation for audits
• Manage petty cash transactions accurately
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team
Qualifications required
Applicants must as a minimum have MQF Level 4 Qualification in Accounting.
Experience required
The ideal candidate must:
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have strong attention to detail
• Have excellent organisational skills
• Be proficient in accounting software, preferably Retail Pro and Business Central
• Have a good command of MS Office and a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Be a team player with a positive attitude
