Job Description & Responsibilities
MGI Malta is seeking to engage a Senior Auditor to join our growing audit team and support both local and international clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and youthful team, managing a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
As a Senior Auditor, you will be expected to apply your technical knowledge and experience to:
• Effectively plan and conduct assurance assignments
• Compile and review financial statements in accordance with GAPSME and IFRSs, and ISA’s, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Perform a variety of audit and assurance engagements as required
Qualifications required
Applicants must have a University degree in Accounting / ACCA qualification. Sound knowledge of IFRS, GAPSME, and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) is preferred.
Experience required
Applicants having more than 2 years of experience in a similar auditing environment will be given preference.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have knowledge of CaseWare (will be considered an asset)
• Have strong command of spoken and written English
• Have an analytical mindset and ability to work seamlessly within a small audit team
