The chosen candidate will mainly be responsible for:
• Review bank, supplier, customer, and balance-sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of differences
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the company’s financial systems
• Prepare the monthly management accounts and supporting documentation
• Assist in creditor and debtor follow-ups, including statement reviews and queries
• Handle payroll postings, including journal entries for salaries, wages, NI contributions, tax deductions, and related accruals
• Support the preparation and submission of statutory filings (e.g., VAT, tax-related documentation)
• Assist during internal and external audits, preparing documentation as required
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
• Perform additional accounting or administrative tasks as may be assigned by senior team members or management

Qualifications required
Applicants must be in the process of obtaining an ACCA qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must:
• Be proficient in Accounting and office software such as excel applications
• Have strong communication skills
• Have a good eye for detail
