Job Description & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Junior Finance Officer will play an important role within the Finance team.
Main duties & responsibilities include:
• Handling debtors’ control
• Preparing monthly reconciliations of bank accounts
• Preparing bank deposits
• Issuing reports and statements
• Preparing reconciliations of vendor statements
• Preparing reconciliations of premiums received
• Posting in proprietary systems
• Performing other Finance general duties as assigned
Qualifications required
Applicants must as a minimum have an A' level or AAT diploma in Accountancy.
Experience required
Applicants must have at least 6 months experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be able to communicate effectively and possess customer-handling skills
• Be prepared to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrate commitment to high professional ethical standards
• Be able to look at situations from several points of view and able to juggle multiple tasks with deftness
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Have good computer skills and be proficient in excel, word and outlook
