Job Description & Responsibilities
The Finance Officer plays an important role in the Finance Function by ensuring that tasks are delivered in a timely manner and to a high standard.
Responsibilities and duties include:
• Perform the day-to-day accounting
• Post invoices / journals / entries on the Accounting system in a timely manner
• Assist with month end related tasks, including reconciliations and uploading of journals
• Perform Account reconciliations i.e. supplier statements reconciliations, premiums / claims payable and other essential reconciliations
• Prepare monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of the audit process and liaise with the Auditors in relation to any requests done
• Perform all the BUPA monthly accounting procedures and returns including monthly reporting to Ireland and UK
• Carry other Accounting duties as assigned from time to time by management
Qualifications required
Applicants must as a minimum have an A' level or AAT diploma in Accountancy.
Experience required
Applicants must have at least 6 months experience in a similar role.

• Have exceptional attention to detail
• Havea demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
• Be able to look at situations from several points of view and able to juggle multiple tasks with deftness
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Have computer skills and be proficient in excel, word and outlook
