Job Description & Responsibilities

Lidl is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team player to join its Accounts Department on a full-time basis.

The purpose and goals of this position are to diligently carry out accounting duties, including:
• Provide day to day support to the Senior Accountants
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assist in the administration and book keeping
• Assist in other general duties as the need arises
• Handle the payment processing and posting of invoices
• Assist in the bank reconciliations

Annual salary: starting from €30,143.40.

Qualifications required

Applicants must have attained a diploma in accountancy or be in the process to attain the ACCA or an equivalent qualification.

Experience required

Previous experience in similar position is required.

The ideal candidate must:
• Have an excellent command of English both written and verbal
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications especially Excel
• Be able to work on own initiative
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills and be team-oriented
• Have a strong work ethic
