Job Description & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Preparing financial bookkeeping for both local and international businesses in various industries
• Conducting various accounting reconciliations
• Preparing management accounts
• Reviewing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Preparing year-end accounts for audit purposes
• Performing ad-hoc duties as required
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Qualifications required
Applicants must be partly qualified with an ACCA certification or be fully qualified with an ACCA certification or other equivalent qualification.
Experience required
Previous experience in client accounting and VAT will be considered as asset.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have strong knowledge of VAT and its practical applications
• Have good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Be able to work independently and within a team and meet deadlines
• Be proficient with accounting software such as Xero (will be considered an asset)
• Have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
