Job Description & Responsibilities
Iva Media Group Ltd is seeking a motivated individual to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting the Finance Team in various financial operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Perform general accounting functions and activities including but not limited to the processing of invoices and payments in our local and offshore companies
• Post bank accounts transactions, perform bank reconciliations, and carry out month-end reconciliations
• Send invoices for approvals to relevant department managers
• Process supplier invoice payments in different banking solutions
• Administer the centralised Finance team inbox
• Ensure accurate and timely postings of nominal ledger entries in the accounting software
• Assist in carrying out payment service provider (PSP) reconciliations
• Assist with any internal or external Audits
• Work closely with the Assistant Finance Manager and the rest of the Finance team
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial initiatives
• Prepare ad hoc reporting as and when needed
Qualifications required
Applicants must have basic knowledge of excel. Gaming industry knowledge will be considered as an asset, although in-house training will be provided.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum 2 years’ experience working in an accounting environment.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be proficient in the use of accounting software. (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, Navision)
• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be attentive to detail and well organised
• Be able to work independently but also as part of a team
