Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Client Accountant to join our growing team of accountants.
As a Senior Client Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, tax returns, payroll, assisting clients with all formalities related to tax refunds, and related accounting and book keeping services.
Qualifications required
Applicants must be Qualified Accountants or be within one year of completing the ACCA qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have 3-5 years of experience in accounting in Malta.
In addition, the ideal candidate must:
• Have good knowledge and experience in Malta VAT and Tax Law
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Have a proven ability to work with deadlines
• Have good personal and professional organizational skills
• Be able to work within a team and communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Be self-motivated with a structured and determined approach to work
• Have previous experience working with Quickbooks (will be considered an asset)
• Be fluent in English. Italian knowledge will be considered an asset
