Job Description & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Manage and monitor the debtor ledger to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
• Professionally communicate with clients to follow up on overdue accounts and resolve payment-related matters
• Liaise with internal departments to verify billing accuracy and address client queries efficiently
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all correspondence and transactions
• Prepare and present regular debtor reports, including ageing analysis and payment trend insights, for management review
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Group to enhance credit control processes
• Assist the Finance team with the issuing and distribution of monthly invoices to clients
Qualifications required
Applicants must have basic Accounts knowledge.
Experience required
Applicants must have previous experience in a similar role within credit control, debt recovery, or accounts receivable. Experience within a corporate or professional services environment will be considered an asset
The ideal candidate must:
• Have strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Have excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and be familiar with accounting systems
• Be proactive, professional, and client-oriented
• Be fluent in English
• Have basic knowledge in Maltese (will be considered an asset)
• Be able to take initiative and also work around tight deadlines
