Job Description & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Book-keeping and maintenance of internal companies accounting records
• Ensure proper financial records are kept and updated daily
• Prepare monthly suppliers/creditors reconciliations and bank reconciliations
• Prepare & process bank payments
• Assist in invoicing and debt collection
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns, VIES, and recap statements
• Assist in the preparation of the company’s management accounts
• Execution of any other task related to the duties of the position and requested by the Senior Management or Supervisors of the company
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a University degree in Accounting or the ACCA qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have at least 2 years` experience in a similar position.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be reliable and have high level of integrity and work ethic
• Have knowledge in using accounting software and databases (will be considered an advantage)
• Be computer literate (Microsoft Office Packages) with excellent proficiency in Excel
• Have knowledge of Accounting principles and procedures
• Have VAT and tax principles knowledge
