Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Coordinating the audit engagement from planning to completion within the stipulated time frame and with the required expected level of quality
• Communicating audit findings and recommendations to the manager
• Preparing the financial statements in line with the relevant accounting frameworks including GAPSME and IFRS
• Developing strong working relationships with the clients
Qualifications required
Candidates must be in possession of a University degree in Accountancy, or have completed their ACCA or ACA professional qualification or be at an advanced stage of completing their ACCA qualification.
Experience required
Candidates must have at least between 1 - 2 years experience in auditing.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be able to work independently and lead audit engagements
• Be self-motivated and proactive
• Have good interpersonal skills to liaise professionally with our clients
• Have good working knowledge of GAPSME, IFRS and international auditing standards
