Responsibilities include:
• Oversee daily accounting operations whilst ensuring accuracy across all financial transactions
• Review, verify, and approve invoices in line with company policies and procedures
• Take ownership of the preparation and timely submission of VAT returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare, post, and reconcile monthly accruals, prepayments, and other key journal entries during month-end close
• Manage intercompany transactions, including recording, reconciliation of balances, and resolution of discrepancies between group entities
• Drive the implementation and optimization of financial systems and automation tools to improve reporting and efficiency
• Proactively identify and recommend improvements to enhance existing processes, workflows, and internal controls
• Ensure full compliance with financial standards, company policies, and internal control frameworks
• Provide support on ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by senior management
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in the final stages of obtaining the ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
Experience required
Applicants must be in possession of a minimum of 2-3 year experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have a great attitude and motivation to adapt to an ever-changing environment
• Have advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Be able to work together within a team and autonomously
• Have strong knowledge of IFRS
• Have knowledge of iGaming and US GAAP (will be a bonus)
• Be attentive to detail and have strong analytical skills
