Job Description & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Review supplier invoices and process payments once approved
• Reconcile customer and supplier accounts
• Work closely with internal colleagues to investigate and resolve any billing-related disputes on supplier invoices
• Help with overseeing, manning, and reconciling bank accounts
• Assist in the cash flow preparation and forecasting
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Assist with the compilation of management accounts and regulatory reporting
• Undertake all assigned work in an organised and methodical way and ensure that key deadlines are respected at all times
Qualifications required
Applicants must have strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management. Applicants who are in the process of obtaining the ACCA qualification will be given preference.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. SAP will be a plus
• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Be attentive to detail and accurate in work
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
